Tis the Season to be Jolly
As its now December, I give my support to all those who are only now putting up their Christmas decorations.
However I was forced to watch the John Lewis Christmas advert at the weekend. Whilst it is very sweet (sickly so), I was flabbergasted to find out that the 2 minutes and 30 seconds it lasts, cost £7m to produce.
I have written to the Coalition to document my outrage at the cost of the same and to also request that Lord Justice Jackson immediately conduct a review into the costs of marketing. I fully expect him to fly to Singapore for Christmas to see how they conduct their marketing strategies and the cost of the same.
Only 22 days until Christmas and my poor attempt at seasonal/costs related humour will be a thing of the past.
