Costs Draftsmen £Competitive + Excellent Bonus Scheme
Manchester & Chesterfield

Due to our rapidly growing client base we are looking for experienced Cost Draftsmen to join our Manchester & Chesterfield offices.

Ideally candidates will have 3 years drafting experience, you will undertake preparation of bills and schedules of costs & draft points of dispute and replies where necessary.

Candidates should be IT literate as all work is prepared on an in-house case management system. Full & comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidates.

Commercial Litigation Solicitors
London & Manchester

Due to continued success and growth in our commercial client base, we are looking for  commercial litigation solicitors with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE to join our growing commercial teams in London & Manchester. This is an interesting position for someone seeking a new challenge with significant scope for progression. Initially you will be asked to handle a number commercial costs files (with appropriate supervision) as well as assisting senior members of the team including the Managing Director on high value commercial litigation cases. As the practice develops, it is anticipated that Just Costs will benefit from the referral of additional commercial litigation claims for its existing clients.

You will act for a wide range of clients, from small, local firms, to large, national practices, ensuring an excellent level of service at all times.

For the successful candidate a highly competitive salary and benefits package will be offered.

Due to a growth in our commercial client base and the award of some high profile cases, we are looking to substantially grow our commercial costs team in London.  Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ commercial costs experience and be looking to increase your exposure to high value claims.

MAIN DUTIES:
Drafting Bills of Costs
Drafting Schedules of Costs
Preparing Points of Dispute & Replies
Providing Advice to clients
Attending Detailed Assessment Hearings
Supporting Cost Negotiation colleagues

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
At least 5 years’ commercial costs experience
Strong knowledge of CPR
Able to prepare bills electronically

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Hardworking and conscientious individual
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
